Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2) is an organization dedicated to colorectal (colon and rectal) cancer prevention.  They provide education, early detection services, and support for patients and survivors. Their vision “is to build and bridge resources in an effort to create a community where  cancer is challenged to survive.”

Today’s guests are Mindy Conklin, Founder and Executive Director of HCB2 (Mindy’s husband Rich passed away from colon cancer), Dr. Andrew Vorenberg, Colorectal Surgeon with Colon and Rectal Specialists, and board member of HCB2, and Kristi Seay, Endoscopy Nurse Manager with VCU Health and current Chair of HCB2.
